More than 400 families are members of Immaculate Conception Parish in Kieler, WI.
The Catholic congregation at Kieler was organized in 1855. The current stone church was first built in 1869. The pastor, Rev. Peter Oeschger, fell to his death while helping with the interior scaffolding. A parish center was added to the structure in 2006. More than 400 families are members of Immaculate Conception Parish. Since 1955, Immaculate Conception Parish has held its annual 4th of July Picnic and continues to celebrate on Independence Day with food, beverages, and games on parish grounds every year.
